Maninjau Chalet offers simple budget accommodation next to the main road at Ulu Cheringin. A small but peaceful place, it has several chalets perched in a garden area facing a stream. Simple facilities here include an open-air hall, mini market and small grassy clearing for light activities. The chalets come in either single or semi-d configurations, while the cheapest are the A-shaped huts that come without attached bathrooms. Camping is allowed on the premises at a small charge, while tents can be rented from the resort. While small, the resort does organise simple team building activities and also caters food throughout the day for guests.
