How to Go

Janda Baik can be reached in less than an hour (45km away) from Kuala Lumpur, with a combination of highway journey and a short stretch of the old trunk road to Bentong. From Gombak or Ampang, access the Karak Highway and pay a tol of MYR5, then follow the road around steep hill slopes until the exit to Genting Sempah, after the Genting Highlands turn-off and subway tunnel. At the roundabout, take the left turn and travel along the road past thick rainforest surroundings, until the entrance gate of Janda Baik greets you at right. Alternatively, visitors can use the old, winding trunk route entirely from Gombak, and thus avoid paying any tol.
