Bukit Tinggi, which means 'High Hill', is a village town just outside Janda Baik, located next to the Karak Highway before Bentong. Composed predominantly of Chinese farmers and restaurateurs, it has a reputation for countryside hawker cuisine, being a popular stopover for food (and tourist trap) among visitors heading towards Raub, Kuantan, Fraser's Hill, and even from Genting Highlands. Shopping for local fruits is also another popular activity, with clusters of stalls parked along the main road and a small market at the town square that offer daily crops for sale. The town is very near Janda Baik, accessible via a slip road after the entrance gate.
